What we clear
Offices, shops, retail units, storage units and small commercial premises. Desks, chairs, partitions, shelving, racking, filing cabinets, the contents of the store room, and the stuff that has been in the back since before anyone currently working there arrived.
Our vans hold the equivalent of two large builders skips, so a small unit usually goes in one visit rather than being spread over a week of somebody else's trading hours.
IT and electrical equipment
Computers, monitors, printers and anything else with a plug on it are dealt with separately, because they have to be. Electrical waste has its own disposal route and it is followed rather than worked around.
If there are machines with data on them, tell us at the quote stage rather than on the day. It is a different conversation and it is one worth having before the van arrives.
Why the paperwork matters more on a commercial job
Every load leaves with a waste transfer note under Upper Tier registration CBDU634717 with the Environment Agency.
On a house that is reassurance. On a commercial job it is the paperwork your own duty of care depends on, because the responsibility for where your waste ends up does not stop at the pavement. It is worth checking any carrier's registration number on the public register before they load anything, and that includes ours.
Landlords, agents and end of lease
A unit being handed back has a date and usually a dilapidations schedule. That is a different job from a general clear out and it is priced differently, so say so when you ring.
We can clean the property afterwards once it is empty, which is often what the lease actually requires, and it comes as one price rather than two trades.
Ask us about your job, whatever it is
Ring, email or message and we will tell you straight away. We look at every job, and it costs you nothing to ask.
Construction waste and a site strip are the two we are not set up for. That work needs a machine on site, and we run vans. Ask anyway and we will point you at somebody who does it.
One desk or one printer is usually cheaper with a man and a van. We start at a room, so ring us and we will tell you which of the two you have got.
Getting a price
We come out and look. It is free, and on a commercial job it is worth ten minutes of somebody's time because access, floor level and what is actually in the store room change the number more than the floor area does.
Invoicing is straightforward and we can bill a company, a managing agent or a solicitor.
Where we clear offices and commercial premises
Across Suffolk and north Essex, from a base at Sudbury.
Ipswich and the business parks around it, out through Sproughton, Claydon and Kesgrave. Colchester, the units towards Stanway and Eight Ash Green, and out to Wivenhoe and Elmstead Market. Bury St Edmunds and the estates on its edges. Sudbury, Great Cornard, Long Melford and Acton.
Also Haverhill, Newmarket, Stowmarket, Hadleigh, Braintree and Halstead, and the villages between all of them. Tell us where the unit is and we will come back to you the same day about whether we can do it.
If the same job has a house attached to it, the full house clearance page covers that side, and we would quote the two together rather than as two separate visits.
