Do you clean the house as well as clearing it?
Yes. Once the property is empty we clean it, usually the same day.
If the clearance has run long we come back the next day and do it then. It goes with a clearance rather than as a job on its own, and there is a good reason for that. Ask us about a clean on its own and we will tell you what we can do.
An empty house is the only house that cleans properly, and by then we are already there with the van outside. Cleaning around furniture that is about to be taken away is work nobody should be paying for twice.
What has the property got to be ready for?
Tell us that first, because it changes the job.
A property going back to a letting agent has a standard to hit. One going on the market needs to photograph well. One being handed back to family is a different job again, and there is no point paying for the letting agent version when the family one will do.
So the answer is a deep clean of the empty property, pitched at whichever of those it is. Say which one when we walk round and we will tell you what we would do.
If there has been a pet in the house, mention it then as well. It is a different job and it is priced separately.
How is the cleaning priced?
It is an added cost on top of the clearance, and it is not inside the clearance price.
Say you want it while we are walking round for the clearance quote. We work the two out together and you get one figure covering both, rather than a second bill turning up afterwards.
